Studio's Mission:
We are a women-owned and operated private glassblowing studio located in the heart of the Monadnock Region. We specialize in thoughtfully handcrafted Glass Memorials which are created by infusing cremains into glass pieces.
Dominique's Personal Artist Statement:
I am enamored with the lifelong challenge that comes with learning how to control the molten medium of glass. The majority of my work is done in the hot shop, often on a larger scale, as I enjoy the way that hands and minds come together as a team towards a common goal. I am very much interested in perfecting forms and working with traditional processes in my unique, vibrant color palette. Much of my work is focused on sculptural animal forms, enjoying the recreation of creatures into blown glass. I make these in a cartoon-like perspective, using real-life photos as a starting point.
